Went to United Square with my "mummy" friend to try Petite Bowl and it was quite a fruitful trip!
She managed to try and buy Petite Bowl and utilised her Toys R Us vouchers. And thank you for the Crayonla crayons for Alaric!!
There were sales at Cotton On Kids and we bought some clothes too. I bough 3 t-shirts(only $5 each) and 1 pajamas(only $10 per set) set for Alaric! Great buy!!

Today is indeed a black Monday for me. Early in the morning the valuator came to our house to conduct valuation for our place. And the frustrating part is I dunno what is on my FIL mind to ask the valuator not to take off his shoes as his socks will have my dog's fur. And happily the valuator stepped his dirty boots all over our house and MY room where Alaric play!! How hygenic!!!!
I hope the rest of the day is better. Hubby gotta mop the whole house tonight all thanks to you know who silly mind dunno thinking of what shit!!!
I finally decided and have to courage to cut my thinning hair short today.
My fat face cannot be 'camo' by my long hair anymore.
Hope it's not that bad.
Good thing is no more long strands of hair in room and toilet drainer.

Yeah! After weeks of worrying, finally we got the approval of our HLE loan! That is the most important part of getting our home sweet home!
Now, we can officially start shopping and packing and not forgetting throwing away unnecessary things.

Alaric's teething had been quite on time as according to the below chart.
He started teething when he was 6 months. And to date he had 16 teeth.
His second molar which is supposed to be on the 20th month/lower and 24th month/upper seems to be on it's way early. He had been drooling a lot like when he was having his first tooth. If the molar only erupts according to the chart we gotta suffer another at least 5 months for the molar to be out.
I realized that there isn't much funiture required for our home sweet home.
Basically only the below:
Sofa
Coffee table
Dining table
Seat for shoes wearing
Bed frame for FIL
Table and chairs for Alaric
We finally found our ideal Interior Designer! And she is a lady!
We always think a male interior designer is better as we seen in TV all those famous ones are males. Well I think we shall not stereotype the females.
Lady Interior Designers are more thoughtful, detailed, patience and may contribute practical ideas in places such as kitchen as they themselves use the kitchen more than the males.
As for designs, I think it is dependent on their experience. And Matty, our ID, she had been with the iBridge Rhiss as long as the company had exist. So we trust her recommendations and designs. She is very pro active and you can sense her passion in ID. She takes on our house designing like her own and wants us to have our dream house realistically within our budget.
We are looking forward for her 3D design to further impress us till our jaw drop! I cannot wait to confirm all designs and start shopping for the necessary materials and accessories.
Keeping fingers and even toes crossed that all will turn out well....
He is someone whom I have a Love-Hate relationship with!
He is one whom I fear due to his authority figuire as a daddy. No nonsense talk and senseless behavior.
He is one whom I find sense of security whenever I face any fear/problem. No fear when daddy's around.
Now that I am married, being a mother of my little rascal. I seems to be in a better position to understand his role as a daddy when we're young. Understands his sacrifices for us and appreciates all his effort to provide us a good life while he slog like a dog.
Daddy, I feel that it's still a Love-Hate relationship. I Love you and Hate to see you suffer!

Recommended by friend on the above brand as my hands are sensitive to my normal chemical dish washer. Bought several other products to try too as they are chemical free as well.

That is saying goodbye to 6 thousand dollars.
Rascal is having low grade fever yesterday. He seems very fussy and had not been sleeping well. Not sure if the tossing in bed whole night is due to the hot weather as our aircon is faulty.
Hope it's not viral infection but only due to teething or the vaccination he had last week.
I get to know some great mummy friends from forum.
We share experiences, laugh and joke about our little ones, grumbles about all being a mummy/wife/daughter-in-law.
Now I have my weekly outing with one of the mummy friend called MH. We often lunch at restaurants like "Tai Tai" and do our grocery shopping together. At times, we also make some simple dishes and chill at home. We are also in search of great deals and grabs like aunties with our rascal in bjorn.
She had been a pal that shares good things with me readily. Thanks to her I did save much money on daily essentials.
Hope we can still have outing in future after I moved to the east.

Aircon broken down yesterday night when we trying to get to dreamland.
With the weather now, it's like living hell.
Cannot wait to stay in our new room with brand new air conditioning system.
The gym ball that Hubbs bought for me is making my body ache.
Especially my abs muscle as you need to control the abs muscle when you are doing sit-ups on the gym ball.
I must use it regularly to get my body back to the healthy days when I visit gym regularly.
Not forgetting with the help of the glider to build up stamina and lower body. And my dumb bells for upper body exercises.
I can exercise at the ease of home and need not go to gym. My home is the gym place.
All thanks to my Hubbs!
I have a bestie which I have known her since Primary One. Her name is Denise Tan.
We had been through many things together;
- school days where we spend most time together during primary school. Especially primary 6 when we were in the same class.
- shopping days. I miss Bugis.
- chilling out at cafes. Indulging in cakes and other sinful stuff. CAN cafe!
- being with each other after heart break. Being each others listening ear.
- visiting me at workplace and 'eat snake' together.
And endless great moments we spend and cherished.
Now that I am married and have a rascal to attend to. We no longer have the luxury time to spend time and chit chat like before.
But she had been very understanding and accomodating. No more cosy cafe and and posh dine outs. Instead she makes effort to visit me at my place for a simple homecook meal.
I appreciate and cherish the time she visits. Although sometimes we didn't even get the time to chat and catch up when there are so many things I wish to share with her. The reason? My rascal needs all attention and refuse to zzz.
Being able to dine and have a quick catch up chat makes me feel contented and blissed to have a bestie.
May my bestie finds the man of her life soon and joins me in the parenthood club.
As busy as a bee can get.
We are getting our new place soon thus confirmation of ID is crucial. Follow by lots of shopping for material, furnishing and electrical products.
Not forgetting packing, changing of addresses for all necessary banks and institutes and looking for a good preschool for Alaric. And applying license for Porky.

Well, since Alaric dun know much about this special day yet. Daddy will make the day special on his behalf.

It's important to start educating toddlers oral hygience once they started teething.
With 16 teeth now, Alaric better starts brushing during every morning and night bath.
See, I think he is doing a good job, at least for a 15 month toddler!
Weather had been so hot and humid. Mummy baths for me in the afternoon too. So now I bath in the morning and evening. Afternoon is playtime and cooling off time.
Later I will be taking afternoon nap.
Alaric loves watching The Wiggles - preschooler favorite band!
Anthony Wiggles, Jeff Wiggles, Murray Wiggles and Sam Wiggles sing and dance.

I had been very active in search of a good preschool for Alaric.
As I will be leaving him in a preschool full day - 12 hours. I need to be sure that he is in good hands! As good as being with Mummy.
Thus I had been doing lots of homework online and planning for more visits to school.
Many factors to look into:
- Spontaneous and passionate teachers/principal
- Low teacher : student
- Good curriculum
- Promote Learn-Through-Play
- Condusive environment
- Great outdoor facilities
- Lots of toys
- Clean environment and toys
- Focus of hygiene and initiative to separate sick child when notice any signs of sickness
- Good/healthy menu of food served
- Transparency of the school
- Good communication from teachers to parents
Where can I find such school without rocket-high fees?
