Precious weekend

We had a great weekend.

Saturday was Clark Quay early in the morning, for work with the family. Evening dinner was at Paya Lebar.
Sunday we had a relaxing morning and Parkway Parade Swensens for dinner.
Today is back to work again! Bad news is that Alaric had developed slight cough and had a runny nose. Maybe due to the fried stuff he took or caught virus from my stubborn ass FIL whom had been coughing before CNY and refused to see a doctor!!
Anyway he didn't zzz well too. Woke up several times most probably due to nose congestion.
Hope he recovered before I go for my 4 days training in Malaysia.

Busy Busy Busy...

It had been busy busy busy for us. ESP with CNY drawing near; less than a week to CNY!
Shopping for New Year clothes, goodies and decorations. Spring cleaning the whole house. Packing away unwanted yet considered new and useful stuff and send to Salvation Army. Not forgetting slotting time for my interviews. All above while poor Alaric is suffering from ear infection and me still having flu.
Thank goodness Super Daddy came to rescue! He does most of the spring cleaning and I am thankful that I can catch some sleep while fussy and grumpy Alaric zzz.
Adding more stress- financially, emotionally and physically, we were notified last minute that this year we can celebrate and distribute red packets. Plans to buy mandarin oranges and change notes for red packets were rush rush rush!
We hope we dun look like panda when we go visiting.

PS: rain rain go away! I need the sun to dry my stuff!!

Cream Cream Cream!

He is holding his Badger cream to sleep, to school, to potty, everywhere he goes!

This is the second time he had a craze over these creams. First time was when we just introduced the cream.


First thing he said once he is awaken, "Cream, Cream, Cream!"
I think must find Badger to make Alaric his endorser.
Anyway we are using Night Night cream, Aromatic Chest Rub, Baby cream for Alaric. Organic and natural!

Our New Gadget..... after so long...

We didn't get a DSLR as we felt that we aren't ready (taking time into consideration too) and would like to the basics right first.
This would be one basic camera for us to practise and explore our style and angles before our DSLR purchase. Maybe in 3 years time when Alaric is bigger and also when we can travel!
Photos are much clearer I must say. Much functions to explore and learn.
Finally something for both of us instead of Alaric!

Cookie Monster Craze

After Alaric went to watch Sesame Street Live at PS, he loved watching Cookie Monster sing "C is for Cookie"! One of the popular Cookie Monster song.
We happened to buy a Cookie Monster plush for him yesterday at Parkway Parade Minitoons as they were having 30% off for the plush. Good buy! Seldom have Sesame Street products, moreover it's on sales. So it's a must buy!
Today after our gathering session at TPY (yummy dinner as usual!), we went to central Kiddy Palace to look for sandals as his only 2 sandals were both too old and worn out. And he finally found his sandals after several shopping trips for it. A pair of Sesame Street Cookie Monster Polliwogs!! It burnt near SGD40 off our pockets!!
And here they are, Cookie Monster craze.

Our Little Garden

We went to a nursery along Katong Road after our breakfast at ECP and library visit.

This is my first pot of plants. Don't they look like Christmas leaves? They cost $25 - 3 plants and pots and repotting soil. Not cheap. Paid by Hubbs, a gift for me! THANKS to dear Hubbs!


Hubbs gotten himself a pot of 铁树. He had always wanted to get one from IKEA but we never seem to find time to go there. Plant and pot and repotting soil only at $15. His plant seems to be a better deal. Haha.
And not forgetting our "older" members of the garden. They are all gifts from my dearest 姑姑s.
Money plant and dunno what plant they called.

Pretty Pajamas

I cannot resist buying pretty pajamas for Alaric although no one sees them at night.
I recently bought him 4 sets of pajamas to replace his old pajamas which is already too short to cover his tummy and legs with all this turning and tossing at night.
This is one of the pajamas which I like best.

A bit early for X'mas, isn't it?


The socks are reindeer design! I also buy some new socks for my growing rascal. Also stocking enough for school starting in December as it's a fully air conditioned preschool.

Davey the Duck at J8

Went to J8 today to meet up with 2 great mummy friends. It was quite some time since I last went there.
We had Crystal Jade for lunch. Thanks to Ching Yun for the wonderful lunch! And she would thank casino for that as she had a lucky hand there.
Alaric wasn't his best self today. He was fussy, cranky and cried a far bit. He also wasted his lunch- minced pork silver fish porridge. Didn't quite set a good example for didi Bosco and meimei Carmen. They were so lovely and manageable compared to monster Alaric. Shame Shame. Maybe because of teething issues and it was near nap time too.
Anyway we managed to shop a little. Saw this cute little duck named Baby Davey. (stated on the box cover) As Alaric always have a thing for duckie, I bought Davey Duck for him.

He quacks, He waddles and flaps wings. Quite cute!

My Sister and Alaric

My sister came to stay over at home sweet home on Friday. She just had her prelims so she got her day off on Friday.
She played some Wii with Alaric and accompanied him while I cook dinner. Alaric kept asking "Ah Yi" to go into the Igloo he had in his playroom. He had fun with "Ah Yi" for sure as he was able to call "EeeEeeee".
Aunty Jaey wanted to grab some things from Ikea and offered to pick us up from our place. Shopping time!!!

And we had a great meal at the Bistro thanks to Aunty Jaey! Yummy wings and meatballs are not to be missed at Ikea.
Shopping didn't end here. After Aunty Jaey sent us back home, Hubbs went to GS Bazaar with us. We had wadeh as usual and went to my favorite store to look at clothes. My sister had a fruitful trip as she bought 3 pcs of clothed. Cheap and great quality.
The day had just began after Alaric zzz. While Hubbs went back to old place to clear up the last few things, me and sister played Wii and watched movies and not forgetting snacking.
We all enjoyed ourselves and zzz only near dawn at 4am.

New Diaper Bag

Thank you Hubbs for the new diaper bag. Our Allerhand bag is now semi-retired as the inner layer are quite torn and the zipper is also spoilt.
Maybe we can still use it for childcare.
