My Sister and Alaric

My sister came to stay over at home sweet home on Friday. She just had her prelims so she got her day off on Friday.
She played some Wii with Alaric and accompanied him while I cook dinner. Alaric kept asking "Ah Yi" to go into the Igloo he had in his playroom. He had fun with "Ah Yi" for sure as he was able to call "EeeEeeee".
Aunty Jaey wanted to grab some things from Ikea and offered to pick us up from our place. Shopping time!!!

And we had a great meal at the Bistro thanks to Aunty Jaey! Yummy wings and meatballs are not to be missed at Ikea.
Shopping didn't end here. After Aunty Jaey sent us back home, Hubbs went to GS Bazaar with us. We had wadeh as usual and went to my favorite store to look at clothes. My sister had a fruitful trip as she bought 3 pcs of clothed. Cheap and great quality.
The day had just began after Alaric zzz. While Hubbs went back to old place to clear up the last few things, me and sister played Wii and watched movies and not forgetting snacking.
We all enjoyed ourselves and zzz only near dawn at 4am.

Zzz successfully

Today our home sweet home need to touch up parquet again.
Me and Alaric came over to TPY to avoid the dust and horrible lacquer smell.
I am so so very glad that he managed to zzz.

He very seldom zzz outside and the last time he zzz at TPY was when he was still using a Yao Lan.
My boy is a big boy liao. I am a happy mummy!

New Diaper Bag

Thank you Hubbs for the new diaper bag. Our Allerhand bag is now semi-retired as the inner layer are quite torn and the zipper is also spoilt.
Maybe we can still use it for childcare.

Osh Kosh B'gosh Jumper

I feel that kids should at least own one jumper in their wardrobe. Don't they just look so cute in jumper.

How I wish I have bought more different colors for him.

Ps. Never wear jumper when going to PD for checkup and vaccination. Very troublesome. :p

Great Day at the Playground

My sister-in-law was on leave on Tuesday so she popped by my place and we went to the playground. We wanted to go Parkway initially but Alaric wakie late and I need to cook dinner that day so next time then.

Happy Birthday Singapore

Our first National Day at Home Sweet Home.

As we were quite near Eunos we can hear the fireworks and cheers from our place. See the above, all the vehicles(army, civil defense, police, red cross, fire engine, etc) park below our place waiting for time to go.

Alaric's Last Visit

It was his last visit to his playmate's place on Friday.
We didn't even have the chance to bid goodbye as they were going for a holiday over the weekend when we are moving over to Home Sweet Home.

We are already missing their company. Hope to arrange a lunch next week with them in town to catch up.
Sigh, my day time seems harder to pass by without their company.

New Playground

I seldom bring Alaric to playground as most of the playground near my old place wasn't very well maintained.

Today we bought him the the roof garden's playground and he had lots of fun. The playground is so new and not crowded at all.
But in the end, he left the playground crying as he didn't wanna leave. He still wanna ride on the blue cow as above photo.

Preschool for Alaric

Finally, after months of searching and evaluation. We have selected Little Empire to be his preschool.

We love the big environment the school has and gym room they have. The Montessori curriculum seems great too. Not forgetting the incorporation of KinderMusik and MyGym lessons. Principal is a soft spoken and patient lady.
I keep my fingers crossed that this will be a good school for him.

Caught the Flu Bug!

After the fall, now the flu bug got him! Not to forget his teething woes. Plus the shifting from west to east - Home Sweet Home.
I hope it's just a flu and not a vital infection that takes around 5 days to recover. CHOY!!!!
Fever fever pls go away fast as we wanna enjoy the comfort of our home sweet home. And of course mummy and daddy still has got tons of packing and unpacking to do!
