It had been years since I last dye my hair. The last time was during our pre wedding photoshoot.
Poor Alaric was running a temperature of 38.9 degree celsius since this morning 5am. After medication and suppository, temperature persisted around 38 degree celsius. Thus we went to the pd for a diagnosis.
Same medication as expected but a swap test for flu viral was recommended. Bloody swap cost me SGD40 and lots of crying! Thank goodness it's negative.
Pray that fever will not hike especially the 3rd day of viral infection.
I must never fall sick as I always spread virus to Alaric before I really fall sick.
Popular Bookstore was having Children's Day promotion and many books were on sales.
We bought a puzzle, a set of 4 peek-a-poo books and a set of 12 Sesame Street book.

Had some great neighbours for company on this first Mid Autumn at Home Sweet Home.
And dearest Hubbs bought me roses. How sweet can he be?
Since it's animal week. I took out his small animals book to go through.
When it's the page where there is polar bear, he ran into his room and took out the library book we borrowed on Monday.
See, polar bear! They are the same.
I am so proud of my rascal!
This week is Animals Week. Mingling with animals and mimicking animals sounds. Maybe behavior of animals too.
Due to our shift, Porky have to go to a new place for his 'spa'. The nearest groomer is at Changi Road - Best Friends.
They provide 'swimming' - hydrotherapy for dogs too. It's good for Porky as he is suffering from hip dyslexia which is hereditary. We cannot bring him to the beach for swimming as it's challenging as we do not drive. So this seems to be a great option for him.
I am loving it. Without the gain city points we earn, I doubt we are willing to buy it at SGD189.
We bought some decor and accessories to liven up our home sweet home.

I planned and looked forward to go ECP even before we moved over to Home Sweet Home.
Today is the day as we are driving this weekend and can bring Porky along as well. My SIS Sherina was looking forward to join us too.
We had breakfast at MacDonalds and met up with mum, uncle and sis at playground. Then we proceed to the beach for a stroll. Porky was busy eating seaweeds and sand while we kicked the waves and sunk our feet into the sands. Alaric was afraid to land his feet on the sandy beach. Rough texture and he kept sweeping the sands off this feet and koala to anyone that would carry him.
He took some time to get his feet dirty! Wave kicking was his favorite activity for the day. He went further and further towards the sea and gotten his bottom all wet. By the time we wanna end the day, he is reluctant to leave. Crying is inevitable. Sigh.
Clean up and off we went to Porky's new grooming place to clean up this dirty corgi. Then back to our place for lunch. Pizza, nuggets, chicken wings and Yong Tau Hu. Brother and family joined us later and they went to buy some flowers as Hubbs and me stayed home as Alaric was taking his afternoon nap.
Overall, I had a great day! I loved it! A tired dog is a happy dog. A tiring day is a happy day, today lar.
These few days were lousy. I feel lousy every aspects. I am as blue/grey as an Eeyore can be.
Such lousy days/feelings haunt me once every few months! Blame it on hormones or PMS is the easy way out. I think sometimes being a SAHM is really not easy. I not self praising as self praise is no praise. Till now that Alaric is already 19+ months, I am still adjusting myself every few months as Alaric is also changing every now and then.
Now that he is very clingy and trying his luck on tantrums, my weekly outing is no longer a luxury to me. It's more of a hassle as it's tough to handle him nowadays. Plus new home sweet home, I am taking up new roles and duties. All these piling up my stress level I think.
Especially on days when eating and obedience level is bad, I lose myself as a good mother and a lot of scolding and beating. I hate myself as I became a blue ugly monster.
I am one now. Sigh. Please turn me back to the normal Dominique.
Cannot remember when is the last time Alaric was in romper.
Went to J8 today to meet up with 2 great mummy friends. It was quite some time since I last went there.
We had Crystal Jade for lunch. Thanks to Ching Yun for the wonderful lunch! And she would thank casino for that as she had a lucky hand there.
Alaric wasn't his best self today. He was fussy, cranky and cried a far bit. He also wasted his lunch- minced pork silver fish porridge. Didn't quite set a good example for didi Bosco and meimei Carmen. They were so lovely and manageable compared to monster Alaric. Shame Shame. Maybe because of teething issues and it was near nap time too.
Anyway we managed to shop a little. Saw this cute little duck named Baby Davey. (stated on the box cover) As Alaric always have a thing for duckie, I bought Davey Duck for him.
A typical stay home day for me and Alaric and Porky.
- Wakie and feed milk and wash up
- Prepare lunch for Alaric
- Boil and refill bottles
- Breakfast for Alaric then for myself
- Cartoon time while I vacuum floor
- Playtime/reading stories
- Lunch time for Alaric
- Bath and afternoon nap
- Wash clothes and pack house and prepare lunch for Alaric and dinner for family
- Personal time/nap with Alaric if he still zzz after all chores
- Wakie
- Snack time and take a stroll or marketing
- Dinner time for Alaric
- Prepares Dinner for family
- Wash up dinner
- Family TV time
- Bath Alaric and put him to zzz
- our night chores begin; packing up, mopping and etc.
I am a yellow face wife. And enjoying this till 2011.
