Alaric's Routine = My Routine

>> Friday, June 4, 2010

Being a SAHM, my life is well scheduled, predictable I would say. Because I have to follow Alaric's schedule for his nap and meals. Things will change once I go back work and Alaric goes to school!
Meanwhile, I am still enjoying the below routine:

- Wakie in morning
- Milk and change diapers
- Breakfast Cereal and watch Sesame Street on #OKTO
- Self Play / Go wet marketing
- Bath Time
- Milk then follow by First Morning Nap
- Have my meals and do some chores while he zzz
- Wakie for milk and lunch and watch DIBO the Gift Dragon
- Go for afternoon stroll / shopping
- Cool down quiet time, reading storybooks / have some snacks
- Shower Time
- Listening to Songs/Nursery Rhymes from The Wiggles
- Milk then follow by Second Afternoon Nap
- Cook dinner while he zzz
- Wakie for milk and dinner
- Welcome daddy home
- Have late dinner or some snacks/fruits if he already had his dinner while we have ours
- Bath Time
- Spend time with Daddy playing together
- Milk snack
- TV time with Daddy and Mummy
- Milk then zzzz to dreamland

Read from some website about routines:
"Toddlers feel safe when their lives are predictable. Developmentally, they do not understand the concept of time passing so they measure their lives by the order of events in it. Creating a stable routine, even if it is just a rough one, helps toddlers to make sense of their world and develop a sense of security."
