Fever and Cold

Poor Hubbs was sick over the weekend....
He woke up on Saturday with a sore throat. Then off he go to town to run some errands - repair his phone at Comm Centre, buy cigars at Orchard Mandarin then lastly to Sim Lim for the opening ceremony of his buddy's shop!
While he was away, I brewed some chrysanthaman tea for his sore throat and also for the family since weather had been quite bad these days.
He had to rush back home as Alaric woke up at about noon. We need to prepare his stuff and also feed him before we proceed to Nathaniel's (my nephew) 1st birthday party at Toa Payoh.
When he was back home, he doesn't look well and were complaining about feeling weak and throat and nose being congested - signs of falling sick. I then asked him to pop some paracetamol after his meal later and have some chrysanthaman first.
Off we go to Toa Payoh at about 2pm. He wasn't feeling any better after the meal and paracetamol. By the time we were home at about 8pm, he was feeling so weak that he wanted to have his bath and rest early. He was already running a fever of 38.5 then. After his bath and another dosage of paracetamol and zyrtec, poor hubbs knocked out by 9pm.
I carried on with getting Alaric to bed, then do some chores and then off to bed too.
I hope he recovers soon.
