Yesterday Hubbs was on medical leave as we are all down with flu. (Alaric spread to us!) So he came along with me to pick up Alaric at school. Instead of me picking him up, Hubbs suggested that he do the picking up instead. And surprisingly, he didn't cry at all like how he would when I go pick him up. No tears, No screaming of "MeMe" or "UpUp"!! I am so proud as we do see improvements to his adaptability and teachers did mentioned that he may be able to adapt by next week. I do hope to put him full day by Jan 2011.
Goodbyes are still a teary and heartbreaking event. He was still crying today and seems to cry more. I suspect it's due to the fact that Hubbs was also around to drop him off today. I bet saying goodbye to two people is tougher than saying goodbye to one person.
I bet Hubbs also felt the ache when he sees his son crying badly at goodbye. But he comforted me by saying that Alaric had to go through this when he go army too. How to compare when he is less than two years old and when he is at least eighteen years old!? Silly man!
Anyway he called me after he left the premise, asking me to snap pictures of Alaric if I can. I knew he was worried and soft hearted. He was the one whom kept on going back to school and peep and Alaric yesterday. And today still ask me to snap pictures when he knows that peeping is already challenging as Alaric may see us through the window and that will make him cry more.
I mocked at him saying that he can try asking the officer-in-charge to help is take pictures when Alaric is in camp and mms us, prepare lunchbox for him daily to camp and go peep at him when he is in camp training. Hahaha! Alaric is our darling rascal forever!
Anyway I do hope his crying stop soon. But one thing I am happy is that there is GymKids at 10.45am! He will be happy about that for sure! I will go peep at him during gym play.

For now I will just enjoy my breakfast at the coffeeshop beside his school.

Peeped at him during GymKids at 1050am. He was not crying. Walking around without pacifier and Bert. (yes dunno why he had been asking for pacifier even after he wakie past 3 days)
Will be picking him up at 11.45am. Hope that he have at least little lunch in school and no crying when I pick him up.
Picked him up at 11.40am. No crying but sure looked happy to see me. He was holding Bert and eating pacifier when I saw him. Teacher said he didn't eat lunch - Mee Tai Bak and also didn't want the infant porridge.
He was quite clingy when home despite the fact that he didn't cry. He rejected lunch and wanted me to carry. Pacifier cannot be removed as he will cry for it. Milk time was difficult as well.
I hope its due to teething issues and no other reason as he was a little warm to touch.
