Start of School again....

After starting school on 1st December, he only attended merely 3 days of school- Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He caught flu on Saturday and runs a low temperature. Thus he skipped school for a few days. Monday was school closure day. Tuesday and Wednesday was still with bad flu with hay fever. Today there will be GymKidz so I thought despite his super clinginess and little flu and newly developed cough, I should bring him to school to have some "fun". So today is like starting school all over for him again.
Crying starts once we enter the main gate of the school. I explain to teacher of his condition and super clinginess and seek for extra attention to him today. It was around 9am when we reached.
So happened that I met and chatted with a parents with a 21 months girl, which I think she is in the same class as Alaric. They said their girl cried for about 2 weeks intensively(exact words she used) and thereafter things get better. She is in half day class too. How I wish I do not need to put Alaric in full day but it seems like I do not have other alternatives.
Time had passed so slowly. Settled myself at the usual coffeeshop, ordered breakfast set, finished egg and bread and blogging at the same time. It's only 920am now. If time is so slow for me, I bet it's slower for Alaric, with all the crying and struggling. Hang on there my Darling Prince! GymKidz should be starting at 1045am!
I will check him out and around 10am and also check with the principal on their disciplinary actions on the kids when they are naughty and also the Christmas performance on Friday evening. Alaric is not performing this time round. Hope he will be able to join the kids in the fun soon once he settled in. I am truly looking forward to his participation and learning of new things.
Just checked on him at 1005am. Today is bad. He is still crying and still in teacher's arm. It had been an hour. He had been crying for an hour. I will wait till gym time and fetch him right after gym.
Just checked at 1030am. His constant crying stopped and it's on and off crying now. Spoken to Principal and she gave me reassurance again that crying is normal and he is in good hands. She told me about the Christmas performance tomorrow at 7pm too. Hope Alaric will have fun tomorrow.
Just checked him at 1050am. GymKids had started. He had stopped crying and roaming around in the gym area. My heart is at ease to see that.
Picked him up at the end of GymKidz and again he was crying ESP when he saw me.
Tomorrow we shall go through again. Kambatei! Jia You!
